Area and Geography of Mesopotamia
Mesopotamia is located in present day Iraq, Syria, and Turkey. It is part of the fertile crescent, which is a crescent of land that has very rich soil. Mesopotamia means the land between the two rivers, which are the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. The northern part is a plateau, but the southern part is a broad plain. Mesopotamia has both pros and cons, making people stay and leave. The Mesopotamians had many different technology that helped them move around and change their environment. They interacted with other people because of the technology, and geography. There were also certain reasons why wanted to leave where they lived.
